ENTRAPMENT ON SYCAMORE ST

Sat, Feb 20th, 2010 10:47:00 am - County dispatched Co. 49 for the MVA w/ Injuries in the 2400 Blk. of Sycamore St.  Shortly after the dispatch, County added R44 to the Box, as there was now to be Entrapment.  C49 (Bradnick) arrived on scene, finding a (2) vehicle accident head-on, with (2) occupants still inside of a Suburu S/W.  EMS requested that the drivers side door be removed for patient removal.  R49 arrived on scene and began Basic Vehicle Ops, stretching the Hydraulic Rescue Tools into place.  R44 arrived on scene and began vehicle stabilization, with the crew from E49 pulling the bumper line from R49 for safety.  Crews from 49 & 44 removed the drivers door, and also cut the B-Post.  Extrication was complete, and crews began to pick up equipment, and take care of fluids & debris on the roadway.
