Company 49 & Rescue 44 were dispatched to Eisenhower Blvd. & Paxton St. for a MVA w/ Entrapment, reported head-on collision. C49 (Bradnick) & Capt. 49 (Hoyer) arrived on scene and established Command. R49 arrived on scene, and began Vehicle Rescue Ops. The patient in the car was already in the care of EMS. R49 popped the door of the SUV to gain access to the patient, while the crew from R44 assisted w/ cribbing and assisting EMS as needed. Air 41 was requested to the scene to assist w/ lighting for the DCART investigation. R44 was then placed available. Crews remained on scene for over 3 hours.
