November 01

During a 24 hour period, Station 91 handled a total of 13 responses from Halloween Day to the following day as strong storms moved through the area. The following incidents were handled with no failed responses and in house staffing.

Search Operation

September 30

This evening, Rescue 91 (BC Bradnick) & Truck 91 (FF Marzen) were requested to assist with the search of a missing elderly male in the 8200 Block of Paxton Street by Chief 91-3. Rescue 91 operated the elevated Thermal Imaging Camera and Truck 91 provided aerial lighting. September 10

This evening at 2235, Box 456-2 was sent to 322 Eastbound in the area of Pennhar Drive for an MVA w/ Entrapment. Chief 91-1 (Steele) arrived shortly after dispatch and confirmed the report. Rescue 91 w/ 7 arrived within 5 minutes and began extrication. Rescue 91-5 arrived and assisted. September 09

Early this AM, Rescue 91 was requested to assist at a Gas Leak w/ evacuations in the 59 Box Area (Lower Swatara). Crews had a line struck in the street and began evacuating campus housing at Penn State Harrisburg along with a daycare and residences. Late this afternoon during the evening rush, Box 49-2 was sent to Paxton Street in the area of the Harrisburg Mall for a Vehicle Fire. Chief 91-1 (Steele) arrived confirming a Working Fire. This evening, the Engine Company was enroute to training in the 45 Box Area, the crew noticed a large column from 40th Street in the area of the Eisenhower Blvd corridor. As the engine was making its way, County sent the Vehicle Fire assignment to the 900 block of Eisenhower.
